Each artist brings his or her own sensibilities and aesthetics to the work.  In my work, I bring my own organic way of working and making art, letting the idea dictate the materials.  When creating work for others, I very specifically incorporate the client's ideas into the piece while maintaining my own artistic integrity. 

Artist's Statement

I am a fine artist and designer with a myriad of interests and passions. Growing up in coastal and regional metro communities, I developed an aesthetic heavily influenced by nature, the sea, and nautical elements blended with a modern feminine edge. To inspire my designs and material choices, I focus on a relationship between natural resources and the overall intention of the piece or project. Combining natural elements such as responsibly-sourced pearls and coral, semi-precious gemstones, glass enamel, vintage findings, found objects and non-ferrous metals, I aim to create objects of personal adornment that encourage an appreciation of nature and the feminine element.  My sculptural installation work is interactive, and strives to create an alternate space within a traditional gallery, home or garden. My design work takes into account the client's goals while keeping true to my own design aesthetics.  Through personal reflection and an appreciation of the natural world, I hope to create a body of work that resonates.
